COVID-19 PROTOCOLS & PUBLIC SAFETY

As we plan for in-person programming, we remain committed to the safety of our patrons and employees. To this end, we have developed this series of guidelines to make sure that your Festival experience will be safe and healthy. We are monitoring the different variants closely and are updating our practices as developments arise in step with both city and CDC guidelines. If you are not comfortable attending in-person events, we are happy to share that the majority of our in-person events will also be streamed live on Facebook Live and YouTube.

HOW WE DEVELOPED THESE GUIDELINES. This safety program complies with federal, state, and local regulations, with particular emphasis on safety protocols to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 in accordance with recommendations by the CDC. We developed these guidelines using current information available on COVID-19; industry white papers and guidelines set forth by federal, state and local governments; advice of industry professional with on-stage experience; and public health experts.

WE WILL CONTINUE TO MONITOR & ADAPT. The Festival continues to work closely with the relevant authorities and safety measures will be constantly monitored and adjusted according to the requirements. If at any point federal, state, or local guidelines become more strict than the safety measures outlined here, the Festival will adjust to whichever directives are most strict.

FESTIVAL COVID COMPLIANCE TEAM. Our COVID Compliance Team (CCT) will oversee, schedule, & coordinate COVID Compliance across the multi-event production. We will also be regularly disinfecting spaces to create a safer, cleaner, and healthier environment throughout programming.

PREVENTION PRACTICES. Our artists and staff will maintain gold standard infection prevention practices throughout the Festival. They must strictly adhere to physical distancing guidelines, use face coverings when in public, avoid hand to eyes and/or mouth contact, maintain proper respiratory and hand hygiene, and self-monitor for COVID symptoms.

SOCIALLY DISTANCED SEATING. We encourage social distancing at all our events.

USE FACE COVERINGS AND PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE). Although not required, we encourage masks to be worn  in and around all festival venues. This applies to both adults and to children 2 years of age and older. However, this is NOT REQUIRED!!!

SOCIAL DISTANCING. Please remember to stay at least 6ft apart from anyone not in your own pod.

DISINFECTING CREW. A Disinfecting Crew of infection prevention experts will be focused on creating a safer, cleaner and healthier environment on the Front Lawn. This may include, but is not limited to, hospitality tents, information desks, gates, check-in tables, spectator seating areas, stage areas, bathrooms, eating zones, check-in stations, lighting/sound mixing area, and etc.

BATHROOMS. Festival organizers will make every effort to ensure the bathrooms are routinely cleaned and disinfected throughout the event. Professional disinfecting crews will use a combination of wipe-down processes and electrostatic sprayers to make sure that all high touch points and common areas are sanitized.

WHEN TO STAY HOME. If you, or anyone you have interacted with, has experienced any symptoms of illness such as fever, chills, dry cough, shortness of breath or sore throat within the past 14 days, please stay home. If you feel ill, please stay home. Most of our in-person performances will also be live-streamed so you can still participate virtually from home.

PRACTICE HAND HYGIENE. Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds (singing Happy Birthday twice is a good gauge). Auto-Sanitization Towers & Handwashing Stations will be accessible throughout the festival
